SSU-USC, reaccredited student orgs recognized during Pasidungog ‘22

CATBALOGAN CITY – The University Student Council (USC) of Samar State University (SSU) and other reaccredited organizations were given recognition during the Pasidungog 2022: Araw ng Pagkilala at Parangal on July 11 (22) at the SSU 3rd Floor Convention Center.

Twenty-six members of the USC were given certificates and medals for their leadership under the highest student-body organization in SSU while 18 representatives from other reaccredited student organizations received the same certificate.

Highlighted in the event was USC’s accomplishments within 8 months of service after taking oath of office as members of the organization. These have been enumerated by its President, Ms. Lobela Bulos.

Also present during the event to show student support on behalf of the University were the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Engr. Ma. Lourdes P. Amante, Student Welfare and Development Services (SWDS) Director Dr. Mae Cañal, Student Organization Coordinator Mr. Melboy Merciales, USC Adviser Ms. Ma. Jessa Pacoma, College of Industrial Technology (CIT) Dean Mr. Ronie Velasco, and the College of Education-Quality Assurance (CoEd-QA) Focal Person Mr. Jake Boy Carbonquillo.
